Job summary

Duke's Aldridge Academy is seeking a dedicated Reflection Room Supervisor to maintain a calm, structured space for students to reflect and re-engage with learning. You will supervise students removed from lessons or on internal suspension, ensuring they stay engaged and on track with their work.

Work with teachers, Behaviour Leads and senior leaders to coordinate tasks, maintain records and support effective behaviour interventions, while upholding high expectations of conduct and learning

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting.
• Ability to remain calm, patient and confident when supporting students who may present challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with students, staff and parents.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage priorities.
• Proactive, resilient and solution-focused approach with high expectations of behaviour and learning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Reflection Room and provide a calm, purposeful environment for students to continue learning.
• Supervise students removed from lessons or on internal suspension and support their return to the classroom.
• Coordinate work with teachers, Behaviour Leads and senior leaders; maintain accurate records and track interventions.
• Support effective behaviour interventions and communicate with parents as needed.
