Protocol Education Limited is seeking a qualified KS1 Year 1 Teacher for a welcoming Teesside primary school. You’ll guide pupils through that important transition from Early Years to KS1 with energy, empathy and a supportive approach.

You will deliver lessons across the KS1 curriculum, track progress, communicate with parents and colleagues, and participate in ongoing CPD. The role is suitable for a committed teacher seeking long-term or temporary placements with weekly PAYE.

Qualifikationen

• QTS required and KS1 (Year 1) teaching experience.
• Creative, flexible planning and delivery style.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and ability to bring it to life.
• Empathy and patience for transition challenges.
• Belief in tailoring approaches to each child.

A welcoming primary school in Teesside is searching for a brilliant Year 1 Teacher to guide pupils through that all-important reception-to-Year 1 leap. You’ll be their anchor as they adjust, grow, and start building confidence as ‘big kids’ in the classroom.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating a classroom where learning is fun, structured, and full of encouragement

• Supporting children through the transition from Early Years to KS1

• Delivering lessons across the full KS1 curriculum—helping each child hit their milestones

• Marking meaningfully and tracking progress to celebrate growth (and spot when extra support’s needed)

• Keeping the lines of communication open—with parents, staff, and the wider team

What We’re Looking For:

• QTS and experience teaching in KS1 (particularly Year 1)

• A creative, flexible approach to planning and delivery

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum—and how to bring it to life!

• Empathy and patience when navigating behaviour or transition challenges
