Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Waste Operator in Elton. You will operate the baler safely and efficiently, sort and process recyclable materials, and keep the yard clean while following health and safety procedures.

The role is outdoors, requires manual labour, and supports a 4 on, 4 off shift with hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Immediate start available for a temporary 2–3 month assignment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a waste, recycling, production or yard environment is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable undertaking manual labour and working outdoors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Health and safety conscious.

Location: Elton

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Start Date: ASAP (Ideally Monday or early next week)

Duration: Temporary assignment for approximately 2-3 months

Waste Operator Required - Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for a Waste Operator to join a busy recycling facility based in Elton. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role and would suit candidates who are comfortable carrying out manual work in an outdoor yard environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operating the baler machine safely and efficiently
Sorting, handling and processing recyclable materials
Clearing waste and recycling from the yard area
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all site health and safety procedures
Assisting with general recycling yard duties as required

Candidate Requirements
