Job summary

Adecco is hiring for a Yard Operator/FLT Driver for a busy recycling facility in Elton. This hands-on role involves manual outdoor yard work and operating a forklift to move materials and bale waste.

Shifts run 8:00am-5:00pm on a 4 on 4 off pattern; immediate start available for a temporary 2-3 month assignment. A valid FLT license and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid in-date FLT license.
• Experience in waste/recycling/yard helpful but not required.
• Able to work outdoors and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Forklift Truck.
• Operating the baler machine safely and efficiently.
• Sorting, handling and processing recyclable materials.
• Clearing waste and recycling from the yard area.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.

Pay Rate: £13.45-£25.83 per hour

FLT Driver/Yard Operator Required - Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for a FLT Driver/Yard Operator to join a busy recycling facility based in Elton. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role and would suit candidates who are comfortable carrying out manual work in an outdoor yard environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating Forklift Truck
• Operating the baler machine safely and efficiently
• Sorting, handling and processing recyclable materials
• Clearing waste and recycling from the yard area
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Assisting with general recycling yard duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• Valid in-date FLT license
• Previous experience in a waste, recycling, production or yard environment is desirable but not essential
• Comfortable undertaking manual labour and working outdoors
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Health and safety conscious
