Smart Solutions is recruiting for a Sort Line Operative for our client based in Cheltenham depot (GL52). You will be responsible for removal of recyclable material and non-recyclable materials from a moving conveyor, ensuring pick rate targets are achieved and working safely.

Reliable transportation is advisable due to the site location. We welcome applicants who are ready to work as part of a supportive team and who value health and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Separating & placing materials for further recycling in the appropriate chute
• Picking at defined rates, selective materials from a moving conveyor
• General housekeeping and cleaning of machines & the operator cabins
• Follow all site health and safety rules
• Sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor belt
• Removing contaminants
• Keeping up with production targets
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Working as part of a supportive team
