Job summary

Smart Solutions in Coventry (CV3) is recruiting Recycling Line Operatives to join a busy Materials Recovery Facility, supporting recycling operations and helping environmental outcomes through effective waste recovery processes. You will work on a moving conveyor, sorting recyclable materials into correct chutes or bins, maintain clean work areas, and assist general site operations as required.

Pay is £13.45 per hour with overtime at £20.18 after 50 hours, Monday to Friday shifts, rotating

Responsibilities

• Sort and pick recyclable materials from a moving conveyor line.
• Ensure quality standards and recovery targets are achieved.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, operator cabins and the wider facility.
• Carry out basic operator maintenance on plant equipment.
• Support general MRF duties as required.
• Report breakdowns, defects or safety concerns to the Shift Supervisor.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
