Job summary

The Best Connection in Witney is recruiting a hands-on Team Leader to support the daily operation of a busy Household Waste Recycling Centre. You will help oversee the site, lead the team, and ensure high health, safety and customer service standards are maintained.

Working Thursday to Monday from 07:45 to 17:15, you will coordinate activities, assist the public with waste disposal queries, and ensure correct waste streams are followed. The role is full-time with an hourly rate of £14.87.

Team Leader - Witney

The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Team Leader based in Witney.

Pay Rate: £14.87 per hour

Hours: Thursday to Monday, 07:45am - 17:15pm

Location: Witney

Contract: Full-time ongoing position

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Team Leader to support the smooth and efficient running of a busy Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).

This is a hands-on role where you will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the site, support the team and ensure high standards of health, safety and customer service are maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the site
• Coordinating and supporting the team to ensure the site operates efficiently
• Ensuring waste is moved and sorted into the correct waste streams
• Assisting members of the public with waste disposal queries
• Providing a high standard of customer service
• Ensuring the site is kept safe, clean and organised
• Monitoring and following all health, safety and environmental procedures
• Leading by example and supporting colleagues when required
• Reporting any issues or concerns to management
