Job summary

The Best Connection in Witney is recruiting a hands-on Team Leader to support the daily operation of a busy Household Waste Recycling Centre. You will help oversee the site, lead the team, and ensure high health, safety and customer service standards are maintained.

Working Thursday to Monday from 07:45 to 17:15, you will coordinate activities, assist the public with waste disposal queries, and ensure correct waste streams are followed. The role is full-time with an hourly rate of £14.87.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate and support the team to run the site efficiently.
• Ensure waste is moved and sorted into correct waste streams.
• Assist members of the public with waste disposal queries.
• Provide a high standard of customer service.
• Ensure the site is kept safe, clean and organised.
• Monitor and follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Lead by example and support colleagues when required.
• Report any issues or concerns to management.
