Job summary

The Best Connection is hiring Recycling/Waste Disposal Operatives for a busy site in Reading. This hands-on role involves sorting and handling building materials such as concrete, bricks and timber, with heavy lifting and outdoor work.

Training is provided and there is a temp-to-perm opportunity. Working hours are Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:00pm, plus 2 Saturdays per month; pay is £13.00 per hour and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Physically able to lift heavy materials throughout the day.
• Reliable and hardworking with aPositive attitude.
• No previous experience required as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate building materials.
• Handle concrete, bricks, timber and other materials.
• Load, unload and move materials around the site.
• Carry out regular heavy lifting.
• Keep the yard clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team.

Saturdays: 2 Saturdays per month

Pay: £13.00 per hour

We are currently looking for Recycling/Waste Disposal Operatives to join a busy site in Reading, working with a range of building materials including concrete, bricks and timber.

This is a hands-on and physically demanding role, involving heavy lifting, so you will need to be comfortable working with heavier materials throughout the day.
