Fifth Wheel Recruitment Ltd in Musselburgh is seeking Recycling Operatives to join a regional leader in sustainable waste management. You will pick recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt and split them into the correct recycling chutes, with on-the-job training provided.

The role is physical but steady, with weekly pay and immediate start dates. Overtime is available after 46.25 hours, and PPE is supplied to keep you safe on site.

Formación

Pay Rate:£14.24 (£12.71 basic + £1.53 holiday pay)

Overtime:Overtime paid after 46.25 hours

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Picking recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt
• Separating materials into the correct recycling chutes
• Carrying out general housekeeping duties around the site
• Cleaning machinery and work areasHelping maximise recycling quality and recovery rates
• Following all health & safety procedures and wearing the required PPE

The Working Environment:

You will be working in a large aircraft hangar style building. It can be cold during winter months so you will need to wrap up warm, but we will provide you with PPE which includes gloves. This isnt a luxury location to work, but the work is consistent and steady and everyone works as a team.

About you:

You do not need to have previous experience, just be ready and willing to learn. You must be reliable and a good timekeeper, and happy to do physical work in a warehouse environment.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
