Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is hiring 4-5 Site Operatives / Cleaning Operatives for a busy anaerobic digestion and recycling facility in Musselburgh, Scotland. This temporary-to-permanent role runs 12 weeks initially, with hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

Overtime is available at 1.5x the standard rate. You will help maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment, supporting waste handling and site operations while working as part of a

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recycling, waste management, yard or production is desirable.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or general site operative duties would be an advantage.
• A good attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in; safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general site cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Maintaining cleanliness across operational areas and workspaces.
• Supporting waste handling, recycling and site operations.
• Assisting with the safe movement and management of materials.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to ensure the facility operates efficiently.
• Reporting any hazards, maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.

About the Role
