Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Recycling Operative in Chesterfield for a long-term, full-time position in a busy recycling environment. The role offers training and a pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Duties include sorting materials on a picking line, removing non-conforming items, loading/unloading as needed, and keeping the area clean and safe. You will work Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 16:30, with site procedures to follow and a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• A physically fit candidate able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Experience in Waste Management & Recycling or Manufacturing environment is preferred.

The Best Connection are looking for a hardworking and reliable Recycling Operative to join our client in Chesterfield on a long-term, full-time basis. This is a physically active role in a recycling environment with the opportunity for training and a permanent position as a Recycling Operative for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Able to work Monday to Friday on fixed day shifts.
• Good physical fitness for manual work, lifting and standing for long periods.
• Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Experience within a Waste Management & Recycling or Manufacturing and Production environment.
• Previous experience as a Recycling Operative, waste, warehouse or production is an advantage but not essential.

Role Information

• Location: Chesterfield.
• Days: Monday to Friday.
• Hours: 06:00 - 16:30.
