Ciwmjobs is recruiting a reliable Recycling Centre Operative to join our busy site. This outdoor role involves assisting the public, helping sort and dispose of waste, and giving clear guidance on where items go while keeping the site clean and safe.

You will work Monday to Friday 12:00–18:00 and Sunday 08:00–18:00, with availability across those days. The job is physical and outdoors all year, in all weather, requiring a proactive, punctual team player.

• Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and lots of walking
• Available Monday to Friday and Sundays

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Recycling Centre Operative to join our clients busy recycling centre.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Availability across Monday–Friday AND Sunday is required.

The role will involve:

• Assisting members of the public when they arrive at the recycling centre
• Helping customers correctly sort and dispose of their waste
• Providing clear and friendly advice on where different items should go
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and safe
• Regular walking around the site
• Heavy lifting and other physical duties when required
• Working as part of a team on a very busy site

PLEASE NOTE – THIS IS AN OUTDOOR ROLE ALL YEAR ROUND

You will be working outside in all weather conditions. This means hot weather during the summer and cold, wet and rainy conditions during the winter. Please only apply if you are comfortable working outdoors throughout the year.
