Job summary

Salary £32,555.21 plus bonus OTE = £37,355.21 plus Veolia benefits Hours 37 per week - working across 7 days per week including weekends

April - September between 07.45 - 20.15

October - March between 07.45 - 17.15

What will you be doing?
  • Assist members of the public at the household recycling centre with waste and recycling disposal.
  • Ensure that the facility is left in a clean condition, removing any fly tipped waste and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area.
  • Operate site mobile plant as and when required and perform routine daily checks, maintenance and cleaning of plant, tools and equipment.
  • To ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors at the site.
  • Remove any fly tipped waste from outside of the site gates and fence line and
    maintain signs and notices.
  • To assist with other parts of the operation as and when required across Merseyside and Halton.

Training will be provided for CMS level 1, JCB operators and first aid.

What are we looking for?
  • Previous experience within a similar operational manual handling role.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Full driving licence is essential to get to site for the shift times and for travelling to other sites when needed.

This role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
