Job summary

Fox Resourcing & Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a busy indoor plastic recycling facility in the United Kingdom. The role involves moving materials, supporting sortation, and maintaining a safe, clean working environment on a long-term, 4-on 4-off shift pattern (6 AM to 6 PM, including weekends).

You will operate equipment, assist with sorting, perform inspections, and collaborate with a team to ensure smooth operation and compliance with site policies.

• Operate the baler safely using a stillage
• Collect and relocate stillages from across the warehouse

• Monitor sortation lines to prevent stoppages
• Clear blockages on sortation lines safely
• Adhere to health & safety policies and maintain a clean work environment
• Maintain an organized working area

Are you looking for a long-term Warehouse Operative role?

We are currently recruiting for a reliable, flexible and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy indoor plastic recycling facility.

You’ll play an important part in keeping the recycling operation running smoothly by moving materials around the site, supporting the sortation process and helping to maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment.

Warehouse Operative

4 On 4 Off ***- 6 AM to 6 PM | This will Include Any 4 Days Monday to Sunday (So It Will include Weekends)

Ideally be able to commit to 12 hours Days and Nights

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate the baler safely using a stillage
• Collect and relocate stillages from across the warehouse
• Move waste materials efficiently to the appropriate processing areas
• Assist with sorting and handling recyclable plastic materials when required
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report any faults or maintenance issues
• Monitor the sortation lines, identify potential problems and prevent avoidable stoppages
• Safely clear and manage blockages on the sortation lines when they occur
• Adhere to all site health & safety policies, procedures and regulations
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment
