Job summary

OBR Group Limited is seeking a Recruitment Resourcer to join our team and help us continue doing recruitment the OBR way. You’ll work alongside our Recruitment Consultants to identify, engage and qualify talented professionals across our specialist markets.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in recruitment, with training and exposure to headhunting, candidate engagement and long-term relationship building across Engineering, Manufacturing, HR and Finance sectors.

Responsibilities

• Head hunting candidates across LinkedIn, job boards and other platforms
• Researching target companies and talent pools
• Identifying passive candidates who aren’t necessarily applying for jobs
• Making initial candidate calls and having meaningful conversations
• Understanding candidates’ experience, motivations, salary expectations and career aspirations
• Qualifying candidates against specific client requirements
• Building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines
• Writing personalised candidate outreach messages
• Keeping our CRM and candidate records accurate and up to date
• Working closely with consultants to understand vacancies and candidate requirements
• Producing high‑quality candidate profiles for client submission
• Coordinating interviews and keeping candidates informed throughout the process
• Building long‑term relationships with candidates
• Keeping up to date with the markets and companies we recruit into
• Sharing market intelligence with the wider team
• Supporting the team with campaigns, research and wider recruitment activity

We’re growing and we’re looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our team and help us continue doing recruitment the OBR way.

The Role

As a Recruitment Resourcer, you’ll work alongside our Recruitment Consultants to identify, engage and qualify talented professionals across our specialist markets.

You’ll be responsible for finding the right people, not just the most obvious people.

You’ll spend your time researching companies, headhunting candidates, speaking to professionals, understanding their experience and motivations, and building strong talent pools for our live vacancies.

Previous recruitment experience is useful, but it’s not essential. We’d also consider people coming from sales, HR, customer service, administration or other people‑focused backgrounds who have the right attitude and want to move into recruitment.
