Job description

Your Opportunity

As a Recruitment Manager, you will be a key part in finding and retaining the right people to support our customers in their own homes. We're expanding across Oxfordshire, so you must be prepared to work at a fast pace while maintaining our values and culture.

Working both in the field and at our offices in Wallingford, Oxford, and Witney, you will collaborate with the management team to support recruitment and marketing efforts to attract and retain staff across the region.

You will coordinate with each office team to meet their recruitment needs and work closely with the Managing Director and Registered Manager to source passionate care team members. Utilize your local market knowledge and platforms like job boards, recruitment events, and community initiatives to attract candidates.

You will also partner with the Managing Director to develop and implement a marketing and recruitment plan, including campaign management and raising awareness of the company to grow opportunities from new and existing customers.

We expect you to be self-motivated, energetic, and proactive in handling all aspects of our people-focused initiatives.

Experience in the care sector, understanding operational excellence, and knowing what makes a great Care Assistant are essential.

Key Responsibilities of Recruitment Manager
  • Ensure candidates feel valued throughout recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone competency-based interviews and shortlisting.
  • Facilitate bespoke recruitment events across Oxfordshire.
  • Identify community opportunities for candidate sourcing.
  • Prioritize campaigns and develop tailored solutions for resource challenges.
  • Work with the Managing Director on business growth and community relationship strategies.
  • Draft annual and quarterly PR, business development, and event plans.
  • Identify advertising and partnership opportunities; distribute marketing collateral.
  • Build relationships with local media to enhance company profile.
  • Coordinate feedback and PR events, including care-themed initiatives, summer programs, forums, and charitable events.
  • Establish relationships with charities, GPs, hospital discharge teams, and other community stakeholders to promote the Bluebird brand and services.
