Engineering Manager – Bristol

We're appointing an Engineering Manager in Bristol to grow the team and develop local markets.

What should you expect day-to-day?

• You'll run a 360 Recruitment desk in your preferred engineering market
• Your passionate approach to people and team development will ensure your team is supported and focused on delivering for your candidates and clients. This focus will help you and your team achieve all career goals.
• Delivering client diversification and specialist candidate strategies will allow you and your team to position yourself in the market as leading Engineering recruitment experts.
• You and your team will have access to cutting-edge inhouse and third-party recruitment technology including: elastic search functionality across Hays database to ensure you get to candidates first, integrated video platform which enables you to communicate with your customers in unique ways, analytics software to find opportunities for your candidates first just to name a few. We are always innovating to be the market leader.
• Help to build a fun, collaborative team that strives to deliver best in class service for all its customers and promotes rapid career development and opportunities in a meritocratic environment.

What will you need?

• The combination of your natural aptitude or desire to develop people, accompanied with the Hays management structure, will help you to propel your team to significant success.
• You'll have a proven track record of billing success within a 360 Recruitment position and understand the importance of leading from the front in every aspect of the role.
• Experience in managing or coaching a team. Understanding different coaching techniques would be advantageous, but not essential, as this is covered in detail throughout our leadership development programmes.
• Passionate about creating a supportive, high performing environment.
• Commercial, innovative and ambitious in your thinking; you'll be keen to identify market opportunities.
