Job summary

Sure Start Staff Limited in Oldham is seeking an experienced Sales / Business Development Manager to drive our recruitment business across Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing and Logistics sectors. This hands-on leadership role combines winning new clients, building lasting partnerships and supporting a high-performing team.

You will own sales targets, coach consultants, negotiate terms and shape proactive sales campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, ideally within Commercial, Industrial, Logistics or Manufacturing sectors.
• Proven success in generating new business, winning clients and building sustainable accounts.
• Strong commercial judgement, communication and negotiation skills with decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target prospective clients across Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing and Logistics markets.
• Build and manage a consistent new-business pipeline through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and client visits.
• Arrange and deliver client meetings and presentations, promoting temporary and permanent recruitment solutions.
• Convert prospects into trading clients and develop long-term relationships with employers and key accounts.
• Negotiate recruitment terms, rates and agreements while protecting commercial viability and margins.
