Job summary

Stridden Limited in Northampton is seeking a passionate Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will focus on winning new business while developing strong client relationships.

No prior recruitment or construction experience is required; what matters is your sales ability, resilience and hunger to succeed. You’ll have your own dedicated Resourcer to help you win and deliver results.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities.
• Cold call, prospect and engage potential clients.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Attend client meetings and site visits.
• Negotiate rates and secure new business contracts.
• Manage your sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with your Resourcer to fulfill client requirements.
• Grow existing accounts and spot new opportunities.

Stridden Limited are recruiting for a passionate, ambitious and resilient Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Northampton on a permanent basis.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves sales, enjoys building relationships and has the determination to keep pushing forward, even when things get tough.

You don't need recruitment or construction experience to succeed in this role. What matters most is your sales ability, attitude, work ethic and hunger to succeed. Construction and/or recruitment experience would be a bonus.

Your Own Dedicated Resourcer

Unlike traditional recruitment roles where you're expected to juggle everything, you'll have your own dedicated Resourcer, allowing you to concentrate on winning new business, developing client relationships and generating revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identifying and winning new business opportunities.


• Cold calling, prospecting and approaching potential clients.


• Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.


• Attending client meetings and site visits.


• Negotiating rates and securing new business agreements.


• Managing and developing your own sales pipeline.


• Working closely with your dedicated Resourcer to fulfil client requirements.


• Growing existing accounts and identifying further opportunities.

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven sales experience, ideally within B2B sales or business development.


• A genuine passion for sales and winning new business.


• A resilient mindset and the determination to overcome setbacks.


• Confidence in cold calling and approaching potential clients.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


• A proactive, self-motivated attitude.


• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Desirable:

• Previous recruitment experience.


• Construction industry knowledge.


• Experience within temporary recruitment or trades and labour.
