Job summary

ITS Building People is seeking an ambitious recruitment consultant to own and grow a construction recruitment desk in the UK. You will develop new business, build client and candidate networks, and manage vacancies from brief to placement.

The role offers uncapped commission, established client relationships, and ongoing training within a supportive team and a long-standing UK-wide recruitment business.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience.
• Experience within construction recruitment is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong business development and sales ability.
• Confidence building and maintaining professional relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A resilient, proactive and target-driven approach.

The Opportunity

Whether you already have a background in construction recruitment or you're an experienced recruiter looking to move into a specialist sector, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing desk and make it your own.

You'll take responsibility for developing a successful temporary recruitment desk, working with construction clients and candidates across a range of blue-collar disciplines.

Your day-to-day role will include:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Building long-term relationships with clients and candidates
• Growing and managing existing accounts
• Sourcing and interviewing suitable candidates
• Managing vacancies from initial brief through to successful placement
• Developing a strong candidate database and market presence
• Maximising opportunities within your market and growing your desk
• Working alongside an experienced team to achieve both individual and branch targets

You’ll have the freedom to develop your own market while benefiting from the infrastructure, reputation and support of an established recruitment business.
