Devonshire Appointments is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team and develop a client base within the Marketing sector.

We are looking for an individual with experience in freelance and permanent recruitment in the marketing or creative industries, who has an established client network.

Ideal Background:

• Experience dealing with the corporate market, preferably in finance or professional services
• Experience working with Master vendors
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates
• Experience with temporary recruitment and knowledge of relevant labour laws
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Proven track record of maintaining a profitable desk
• High numeracy skills for handling temporary charges accurately
• Commercial awareness, with the ability to interpret P&L statements and client terms confidently

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a recruitment desk serving both freelance and permanent roles in Marketing
• Business development to attract new clients and reconnect with previous clients
• Interview candidates, meet clients regularly, and attend industry events
• Maintain and grow client relationships, collaborating with colleagues for cross-selling opportunities
• Create compelling job adverts to attract suitable candidates
• Stay informed about employment law changes and their impact on hiring

This role is primarily remote, but regular travel to meet clients and candidates, as well as attending meetings in the City of London, is expected.
