Gillespie People Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Recruitment Account Manager / Resourcing Specialist to support major UK infrastructure projects, delivering skilled temporary workers across busy construction programmes.

Based in Edinburgh with hybrid working, you’ll manage high-volume recruitment campaigns, build strong candidate pipelines, and ensure compliant, on-time resourcing for high-profile civil engineering and infrastructure developments.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment, resourcing or account management experience.
• Experience recruiting within construction, infrastructure, engineering, industrial or blue-collar sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong delivery and account management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and fast-moving recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working within compliance-led or regulated sectors would be advantageous.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Account Manager / Resourcing Specialist to join our client's Infrastructure team, supporting the delivery of skilled temporary workers across some of the UK's largest, safety-critical construction and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.

This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role where you'll be responsible for managing high-volume temporary recruitment campaigns across major infrastructure developments. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects have the skilled workforce required to keep critical programmes moving forward.

Projects include large-scale infrastructure developments such as nuclear facilities, road construction schemes, airport resurfacing programmes, highways maintenance projects, and other significant civil engineering works.

The Role

Working closely with established clients and project stakeholders, you'll focus on the end-to-end delivery of temporary labour requirements across multiple live projects.

Typical roles you'll recruit for include:

• Groundworkers
• Traffic Management Operatives
• Skilled Trades
• Plant Operators
• Highways Operatives
• Labourers
• Site Supervisors
• Civil Engineering Personnel
• Other blue-collar and technical infrastructure workers

This is a delivery-focused position rather than a sales role. Your success will come from building talent pipelines, managing candidate relationships, coordinating compliance, and ensuring projects are fully resourced.
