Job summary

Pertemps Stoke is seeking two Candidate Recruiters to support the Royal Mail peak recruitment project in Stoke-on-Trent. This fast-paced, office-based temporary role runs for 12 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Start ASAP and training is provided.

You will contact registered candidates, explain opportunities and progress suitable applicants through the recruitment process with a strong emphasis on customer service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Organised and detail oriented with strong administrative skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced temporary role.
• Able to handle multiple candidates and information concurrently.

Responsibilities

This temporary Recruiter role with Pertemps Stoke supports the Royal Mail peak recruitment project in Stoke-on-Trent. Working full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm, the position runs for twelve weeks and pays £13.33 per hour. The successful applicant will telephone candidates who have registered interest in Royal Mail work, explaining available positions and guiding suitable people through each stage of the hiring process. Strong communication, administration and customer service abilities are essential, alongside confidence using recruitment systems and spreadsheets. The post suits someone organised, comfortable making regular calls, and able to manage several applications at once. Immediate availability is preferred for this office-based contract.

Pertemps Stoke are looking for 2 Candidate Recruiters to join our busy team and support our Royal Mail peak recruitment project.

This is a fast-paced, temporary role where you will play a key part in recruiting candidates for positions with Royal Mail during their peak period.

The Role

You will be responsible for contacting candidates who have expressed an interest in working with Royal Mail, talking them through the available opportunities and progressing suitable candidates through the recruitment process.

• Contacting candidates by telephone to discuss available Royal Mail opportunities
• Screening candidates to establish their suitability and availability
• Registering candidates onto the Pertemps systems
• Collecting and checking all relevant candidate information and documentation
• Completing candidate registration and ensuring all required information is accurate
• Following up with candidates to obtain outstanding paperworkKeeping candidates updated throughout the recruitment process
• Liaising closely with the vetting/data-entry team to ensure candidates are passed over correctly
• Working towards project recruitment targets and deadlines
• Providing a professional and positive candidate experience
• Handling a high volume of calls and candidate enquiries
• Supporting the wider Pertemps team throughout the Royal Mail peak period

• Flexible and willing to support the team where required
• Previous recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential.
