Job summary

Pertemps Stoke is seeking two Candidate Recruiters to support the Royal Mail peak recruitment project in Stoke-on-Trent. This fast-paced, office-based temporary role runs for 12 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Start ASAP and training is provided.

You will contact registered candidates, explain opportunities and progress suitable applicants through the recruitment process with a strong emphasis on customer service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport over the phone.
• Organised and detail oriented with strong administrative skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced temporary role.
• Able to handle multiple candidates and information concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Contact candidates by telephone to discuss Royal Mail opportunities.
• Screen candidates for suitability and availability.
• Register candidates onto Pertemps systems and verify information.
• Collect and check all candidate data and documentation.
• Complete candidate registration with accurate details.
• Follow up to obtain outstanding paperwork and keep candidates updated.
• Coordinate with vetting/data-entry teams to ensure proper handoffs.
• Work toward project recruitment targets and deadlines.
• Provide a professional and positive candidate experience.
• Handle a high volume of calls and enquiries.
