Job summary

Turning Point UK is recruiting a Recovery Worker for the Hinckley Hub in Leicestershire. The role involves acting as a key worker for a caseload, supporting clients to set goals around treatment, and developing personalised plans.

You will engage in psycho-social interventions, maintain contact and coordinate with clinical teams and partner agencies. Starting salary is £25,870 with annual progression to £30,265.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people in health and social care or lived experience is valued.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work one-to-one and in groups.
• Understanding of substance and alcohol use and recovery barriers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with service users and develop treatment goals.
• Provide psycho-social interventions, assessments and risk management planning.
• Collaborate with clinical staff on prescribing needs and partner agencies.
