Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a compassionate Recovery Worker to support individuals receiving treatment for opiate use at Forward Leeds in Leeds. You will manage a caseload and develop, implement and review personalised recovery and treatment plans, delivering 1:1 psychosocial interventions and holistic care planning.

You will guide clients from assessment through structured treatment, reduce harm, and collaborate with partners city-wide to achieve positive health outcomes.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a compassionate Recovery Worker to support individuals on their treatment for opiate use.
• You will manage a caseload and develop, implement and review personalised recovery plans.
• 1:1 psychosocial interventions (PSI) and brief interventions will be provided to aid recovery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of individuals with opiate dependence, developing and reviewing recovery and treatment plans.
• Facilitate progression from initial assessment to structured treatment.
• Provide 1:1 psychosocial interventions (PSI) and brief intervention support.
• Complete care planning and risk assessment/management.
• Take a holistic approach to wellbeing and reduce substance-related harm.
• Collaborate with partners across the city-wide partnership to achieve health outcomes.
• Support people to pursue recovery and transfer care to aftercare teams.
