Job summary

WithYou is seeking a Recovery Worker in Oban to support the expansion of our services across Argyll and Bute. The role is permanent and part-time (22.5 hours/week), with a focus on helping individuals and families affected by substance use through a range of evidence-based approaches.

You will travel across the Oban area, work from the base when needed, and use remote methods such as phone or virtual appointments. A driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in recovery or social care settings preferred.
• SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain required qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support service development in Oban, Lorn and Small Isles area.
• Manage a caseload of individuals and families affected by substance use.
• Travel across the area and work from Oban base, with some remote engagements.
• Collaborate with local partners to improve access to support and wellbeing.
