Job summary

Red Sector Recruitment Limited is seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for a client in Stevenage on a 3 month contract, start ASAP. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with pay negotiated at £22-£23 per hour.

The position involves supporting service users through entry, treatment and recovery, including screening, assessment and recovery planning, while promoting involvement, advocacy and social reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
• Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
• Reducing alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
• Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
• Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
• Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination

Job description

We currently seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for our client in Stevenage on a 3 month contract to start ASAP.

The rate of pay will be negotiated between £22-23 an hour. This will be 37.5 Hour a Week Contract, Monday to Friday.
