Job summary

Red Sector Recruitment Limited is seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for a client in Crewe on a 3 month contract, starting ASAP. The role offers a rate of £22–£23 per hour and a 37.5-hour week, Monday to Friday.

You will support service users from entry through recovery, conduct screening and assessment, and facilitate recovery planning and referrals, aiming to reduce harm and promote community involvement and social reintegration.

Qualifications

• DBS check: Enhanced Adults and Children on Update Service will be required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.
• Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reducing alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promoting carer, service user and community involvement.
• Providing advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination.

Job description

We currently seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for our client in Crewe on a 3 month contract to start ASAP.

The rate of pay will be negotiated between £22-23 an hour. This will be 37.5 Hour a Week Contract, Monday to Friday.

As a Recovery Worker you will be required to:
