An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Turning Point Complex Needs Team as a Recovery Worker. This role involves supporting service users in Hertfordshire who face mental health, substance misuse, and other complex social issues. You will provide vital advice, information, signposting, and practical support to promote wellbeing and recovery.

As a Recovery Worker, you'll make a significant difference by helping them access personalized, flexible support to improve their quality of life in their communities. The Hertfordshire Complex Needs Service offers short-term, holistic community support to adults recovering from mental health issues and dealing with additional complex needs such as substance misuse and housing issues. We visit clients in their homes or meet at community locations, designing support plans that adapt to their evolving needs and goals.
Our support aims to reduce isolation, increase independence, teach new skills, and facilitate community integration, regardless of previous support service experiences.
The service operates on a rota basis: 8-4, 9-5, or 10-6. Having a valid driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
