A leading company in supported housing is seeking a Recovery Worker to support service users in Barnet. The role involves developing personal support plans and helping individuals achieve independence through tailored assistance. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. Candidates with an understanding of mental health issues or lived experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
Location: Barnet, EN5 2TH
Salary: A£27,320 inclusive per annum (plus 1 contracted sleep-in a week at A£78.30)
Hours: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Our 24-hour Supported Housing service in Barnet is seeking someone like you to support service users in maintaining their tenancy and independence. We prioritize their involvement in decisions affecting their future, and we look to you to inspire and support them in their recovery journey. This includes developing personal support plans, enhancing domestic and financial skills, and facilitating access to work, leisure, or educational opportunities. Accurate case note documentation and liaising with GPs, local councils, charities, and the community are also key parts of the role.
Recovery looks different for everyone, but with the right support, we believe recovery is possible for all. Your empathy, enthusiasm, and compassion will help service users achieve their goals.
No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided. Candidates with understanding of mental health issues or lived experience are encouraged to apply. Key qualities include a caring and compassionate nature, empathy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Availability for a weekly rota and on-call duties is essential.
