Job summary

Lifeways in Stafford is seeking a Recovery Support Worker to help adults living with mental health needs regain independence and connections in the community.

You will work full time (37.5 hours weekly) with shifts between 08:00 and 22:00, including evenings and weekends; sleep-in shifts may be required. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow your skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health needs is preferred; training provided.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of mental health and its impact on daily life.
• Good IT skills, including Word, email and basic databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful support to adults living with mental health needs to work toward greater independence.
• Support service users in daily activities and routines.
• Work flexibly across shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, respectful care.
