Qualifications

  • Idealerweise Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit Drogenmissbrauch und psychischen Problemen.
  • Kenntnisse über CQC regulierte Aktivitäten und individuelle Unterstützungspläne.

Responsibilities

  • Bereitstellung von Schlüsselarbeit und Risikoanalysen für Klienten.
  • Entwicklung positiver Beziehungen zu Klienten zur Förderung ihrer Unabhängigkeit.
  • Ermutigung der Klienten zur sozialen Integration und Entwicklung positiver Bewältigungsmechanismen.

Skills

Hours Full Time- 37.42 hours - working on a rota - 4 shifts on/2 shifts off combination of 7.30am-3.30pm and 12.00pm-8.00pm shifts

Working within Stonepillow’s Recovery Service, a unique community based 12-bed residential rehabilitation service for people with drug and/or alcohol problems. The service is designed for people who are abstinent from substances and your role will be to support service users to increase their independence, improve their quality of life and achieve their personal goals by offering recovery focused support in the form of 1:2:1’s, group work and supporting individuals to access education, volunteering and employment.

Ideally you will have experience of working with substance misuse and/or mental health issues in a recovery-orientated setting. A working knowledge of CQC Regulated Activities and safeguarding and implementing individual support plans and undertaking risk assessments is desirable as well as experience of delivering group work.

Your duties will include:

  • Provide key work, risk assessment and support planning for service users as required by CQC standards to help successful recovery focused achievement of their personal goals, improve their health and wellbeing and quality.
  • Deliver high quality interventions using a person centred and recovery focused approach.
  • To develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships with service users which recognise and respond to their individual needs and to promote their choices, while at the same time maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Encourage service users to establish social networks, engage with services and undertake activities to assist them to develop positive coping mechanisms and to socially integrate.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with our partner organisations, external agencies and relevant voluntary & statutory agencies and individuals over a wide range of issues affecting our clients.
