The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a 12-month fixed-term Band 5 Recovery Practitioner to provide post-operative care in the Recovery Suite at a Trust hospital. The role involves one-to-one care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and work across the Recovery Area and Maternity Unit.

Active NMC or HCPC registration is required. Hours are 37.5 per week with both full-time and part-time considered, and mentorship qualification is preferred. Visa sponsorship may not be available.

Qualifikationen

• Provide safe post-operative and post-anaesthetic care.
• Mentorship module after completing preceptorship is required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK under immigration rules.

Aufgaben

• Provide safe post-operative and post-anaesthetic care in line with Trust values and policies.
• Give planned one-to-one care to patients after general or regional anaesthetic.
• Carry out post-operative care in the Recovery Area and the Maternity Unit.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care programmes with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
• Show compassionate values and behaviours that support dignified care.
