North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Recovery Practitioner to provide post-operative care across multiple surgical specialties. The role supports adults and children, working within the Recovery Department, including main theatre, day unit and maternity services.

You must be registered with NMC or HCPC and complete a mentorship module after preceptorship. The post offers full and part-time hours with a 37.5 hour week and a supportive preceptorship program.

Qualificações

• Registered nurse or operating department practitioner qualification.
• Commitment to complete a mentorship module after the preceptorship.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe post-operative and post-anaesthetic care to surgical patients.
• Deliver one-to-one post-anaesthetic care from day surgery to major surgery.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with patients and the MDT.
• Care for adults and children in main theatre, Elective Care Suite, and maternity unit.
• Care across obstetrics, gynaecology, urology, upper GI and colorectal, trauma and orthopaedics, vascular, head and neck and ophthalmology.
