Job summary

Inclusion, part of MPFT, invites applications for a Recovery Coordinator (Band 5) in our Drug and Alcohol Services in Newcastle. You will manage a caseload of clients with complex needs and deliver structured psychosocial interventions.

You will conduct assessments, develop risk and recovery plans, and work with multi‑agency partners to support recovery journeys, safeguarding, and compliance with national guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with drug users in health or social care settings.
• Experience with CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-focused therapy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to people with drug use problems within the STaRS framework.
• Holding a caseload and offering a range of interventions to service users.
• Support service users through their treatment journey from start to finish.
• Demonstrate recovery-oriented practice and ensure evidence-based, up-to-date work.
• Keep accurate records and documentation in line with policy.
