Waythrough is recruiting a Recovery Coordinator to support individuals with substance misuse in a prison setting. You will engage with service users to facilitate engagement with treatment, reduce harm and progress towards recovery.

Based in HMP Deerbolt, you will deliver one-to-one and group interventions, work with staff and partners, and maintain accurate records to inform reviews and plans. A compassionate, resilient, and professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated compassion and resilience when supporting individuals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Collaboration with teams and external partners to coordinate care.

Responsabilités

• Manage caseload and complete assessments.
• Develop and review recovery plans and provide one-to-one support.
• Deliver brief and psychosocial interventions to promote change.
• Facilitate group sessions and programmes to support recovery.
• Coordinate with prison staff, healthcare professionals and agencies.
• Complete risk and safeguarding assessments to ensure safety.
