Job summary

Priory Eden House in London is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker to guide clients through daily activities and recovery-focused programs. You will support daily living, contribute to care plans, and help residents achieve personal outcomes in a compassionate, professional environment.

The role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week), on-site parking, and a pension scheme, with training and development opportunities to progress into leadership or clinical positions.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent or higher recognised qualification.
• GCSE or NVQ2 in English and Maths.
• N.B. It is not anticipated that all new recruits to the role will have NVQ2 qualification but will commence the attainment process within six months of joining and will have a specific time period in which to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the people who use our service have any needs or requirements met; including participation in activities and support with daily living tasks.
• To support people who use our service in achieving their outcomes in the way that they choose.
• Complete daily administration including updating person centred support & care plans, updating charts and completing accurate daily notes.
• Maintains professional relationships whilst developing a good rapport with the people who use our service, their family, colleagues, visitors and other stakeholders.
• To undertake keyworking responsibility for individual clients, supporting the individual to plan goals and personal outcomes and ensure that these are comprehensively documented and reviewed.
