Job summary

Active Pathways Ltd. operates Millcroft House in Seacroft, Leeds, and seeks a compassionate Support Worker to assist residents on their recovery journeys within a specialist rehabilitation service. You will build relationships, support daily living skills, and promote independence in a structured environment.

The role offers a fixed 38.5-hour week on a two-week rolling rota with shifts from 7:45am to 7:45pm, providing consistent opportunities to engage residents and support their goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a Mental Health or Rehabilitation setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Understanding of person-centered support and recovery-focused practice.
• Proactive and compassionate approach to supporting others.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support residents through their recovery journeys within a rehabilitation environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect.
• Help individuals develop practical life skills and increase independence.
• Provide emotional support and promote positive wellbeing.
