Job summary

Active Pathways Ltd is recruiting Mental Health Support Workers for a Day shift in Seacroft, Leeds. This full-time role offers a 36-hour week with shifts from 8am to 8pm, and every other weekend off. Salary is £13.45 per hour, with overtime at £14.95 and sleeps paid at £55 per night.

Qualifications

• Experience within a Mental Health or Rehabilitation setting.
• Ability to build rapport with residents and the wider team.
• Commitment to person-centred, quality care.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
• Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
• Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
• Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
• Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
• Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
