Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Worker to provide person-centred support at Croft House, East Molesey. You’ll help residents achieve goals, build life skills and maintain wellbeing in a 12‑hour supported housing service.

This full-time, permanent role involves safeguarding, accurate record‑keeping, and collaboration with colleagues and external agencies to ensure safe, effective service delivery in line with our values of Kindness, Courage and Respect.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Training in mental health, substance misuse or recovery support preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse service users.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support tailored to individual goals.
• Help residents develop independent living skills and budgeting.
• Promote physical and emotional wellbeing and community engagement.
• Support decision‑making and user involvement with staff and partners.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding compliance.
• Work collaboratively to ensure safe day‑to‑day service operations.
• Uphold boundaries and contribute to team handovers.
