Job summary

Lifeways Group seeks caring Recovery Support Workers for our Enhanced Community Recovery supported living service in Barnsley. You will work closely with clients to promote independence, build confidence and support their ongoing recovery journey.

You will join a compassionate, person-centred team with flexible rota shifts including early, late and sleep-in shifts, Monday to Sunday. Prior experience with mental health support is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• You must have previous experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• You understand the challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions and are committed to providing compassionate, recovery-focused support.
• You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• You are confident using IT systems, including Word, databases and email.
• An NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage, but not essential.
