Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Lived Experience Practitioner to join the Specialist Psychotherapies Service in Callum Lodge/Coach House. You will use your recovery journey to support and inspire others on their recovery path.

You will co-facilitate the Moving On Group, help create a safe, recovery-focused environment, contribute to staff training and service development, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed,

Qualifications

Lived experience of recovery used to support others with Complex Emotional Needs.
Ability to co-facilitate group programmes and sessions.
Strong communication and collaborative skills to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Co-facilitate the Moving On Group and support service users during their recovery journey.
Create a safe, compassionate, recovery-focused environment promoting hope and self-management.
Share lived experience in a professional way to inspire and support others.
Work with colleagues to deliver psychologically informed and trauma-informed support.
Support staff understanding through consultation, reflective discussions, and training where appropriate.
Build effective relationships with colleagues and maintain professional standards.
Maintain accurate records, participate in supervision, and uphold safeguarding and confidentiality.
