Location: Sunderland Road, Horden, Peterlee, SR8 4NU Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. You will also be required to work one Saturday morning, 9am–12pm, within each 3-month period. Contract Type: Fixed Term – 10 months Salary: £25,877.80 - £34,240.03 Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.

We’re excited to offer a 10-month fixed‑term opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator to join our East Durham team. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you’ll support adults affected by drug and alcohol use throughout their treatment and recovery journey. You’ll manage your own caseload, creating, implementing and reviewing personalised recovery and treatment plans, while building meaningful and trusting relationships with the people we support. You’ll work with individuals at different stages of their recovery journey – from initial engagement and assessment, through structured treatment, to exiting treatment and accessing sustained recovery and aftercare. You’ll play an important role in helping people reduce substance‑related harm and make positive, sustainable changes in their lives, while also contributing to safer and healthier communities. Working as part of our East Durham team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to provide person‑centred, coordinated support that reflects the individual needs and goals of each person.
