As a Records Configuration Controller within our Airworthiness Records department at London Gatwick Airport, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation as a world-class team dedicated to precision and efficiency. Leveraging cutting-edge e-signature and digital technologies, we ensure seamless induction, configuration management, and validation of both new and pre-owned aircraft throughout their life cycles. Your responsibilities encompass managing and evaluating aircraft airworthiness and technical requirements within our maintenance system, guaranteeing accurate reporting for airworthiness statuses and maintenance forecasting. You'll oversee compliance with maintenance programs and essential documentation, including Airworthiness Directives, Hard Time components, and Life Limited parts. Your expertise in evaluating technical documentation and data will be essential for configuring complex components and systems, ensuring meticulous accuracy at every step. Collaborating closely with Airbus, you'll provide timely updates to facilitate aircraft maintenance manual revisions.
What you’ll be doing :
You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with legislative and company procedures to maintain aircraft airworthiness. Your responsibilities include accurately managing technical configurations and records status within our systems for scheduled maintenance tasks, mandatory requirements, and unscheduled maintenance activities across the easyJet fleet. Collaborating closely with various departments, you'll review fleet utilisation, prepare shop visit induction data packs, administer updates to maintenance systems, and ensure accurate reporting of service bulletin accomplishments. Your attention to detail will be crucial in identifying anomalies in records, resolving issues, and supporting various engineering projects and end-of-lease processes. You'll also liaise with stakeholders and regulators, ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, and assist in achieving airline performance targets. Additionally, you'll support day-to-day airworthiness and records activities, as well as fleet transition movements, ensuring our operations remain seamless and efficient.
Requirements of the Role
What you’ll need to do the role:
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in aircraft technical records management, particularly in complex component builds and associated data such as Life Limited Parts, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins. Your expertise should extend to Hard Time, LLPs, and OCCM components, including assembly configuration and post-Brexit release standards. Experience with End of Lease activities and proficiency in AMOS aircraft maintenance management system and Flydocs is highly desirable. Computer literacy, especially in MS Office suite, is essential. You should possess a solid understanding of aircraft maintenance and airworthiness regulations, along with the ability to identify deficiencies, conduct fleet-wide risk assessments, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Attention to detail, tenacity, and the ability to manage high workloads within tight deadlines are crucial. Excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with diverse groups including suppliers and customers are also required.

Location & Hours of Work
This fixed term, full-time role will be based in London Gatwickand will be 40hours per week, Monday-Friday. Occasionally weekend cover may be required. We embrace hybrid working and spend 60% of our time in the office.
