AJ Bell is seeking a Reconciliations Team Leader in Manchester to run the day-to-day reconciliations function and act as the technical lead for the firm's reconciliation systems and controls. You will coach and develop the team, manage performance, and ensure regulatory obligations and customer outcomes are met, while driving automation and process improvements to support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational reconciliation teams in a regulated environment.
• Solid knowledge of FCA CASS requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Proven ability to design and implement automation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day reconciliations operations and coaching the team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Own reconciliation platform, drive automation and system enhancements.
• Monitor KPIs, manage risk, and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Technology and Change teams and external suppliers.
• Support audits and maintain process documentation.
