Job summary

AJ Bell is seeking a Reconciliations Team Leader to oversee daily reconciliation operations, acting as the technical lead for reconciliation systems and controls. You will coach the team, ensure regulatory obligations are met, and drive process improvements and automation to support business growth.

You will lead with integrity, manage performance, and collaborate with Technology, Change, and external suppliers to strengthen controls and customer outcomes, within a hybrid working setup in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams and coaching staff.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation methods and controls.
• Knowledge of FCA CASS requirements (CASS 6/7/8/10) is desirable.
• Ability to produce MI and trend analysis and own platform performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day reconciliation activities in line with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee CASS funding and SIPP rebalancing activities to standards.
• Monitor exceptions, risk exposures and remediate issues promptly.
• Provide technical leadership for reconciliation systems and automation.
• Coach and develop the Reconciliations team; manage workload and succession.
