Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a Reconciliations Accountant based near Chandlers Ford for a 3-month contract. You will address a backlog of reconciliation issues, stabilise the bank reconciliation process and provide training to external teams.

You will review aging items, investigate discrepancies, document end-to-end processes and support knowledge transfer to ensure long-term stability. Hybrid working and parking options available.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in bank reconciliation and financial accounting.
• Skilled in analysing and resolving complex discrepancies with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent documentation of finance processes, controls and transition projects.
• Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and organisation skills.
• Independent worker in a fast-paced environment with focus on accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review current reconciliation positions, prioritising aged and high-risk items for resolution.
• Investigate complex reconciliation differences and identify root causes with cross-functional teams.
• Process adjustments with stakeholders, ensuring audit trails and compliance.
• Document end-to-end reconciliation processes for transition and training.
• Support knowledge transfer and handover activities for long-term stability.
