Responsabilidades

• Perform complex reconciliations across multiple bank accounts
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, unidentified transactions and outstanding items
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
• Ensure transactions are accurately recorded and allocated within the accounting system
• Identify and resolve unreconciled items in a timely manner
• Support month end processes and financial reporting deadlines
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

The successful candidate will manage large volumes of bank account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and unidentified transactions, and resolve outstanding items promptly. Duties also include reconciling general ledger accounts, investigating variances, and ensuring all transactions are recorded and allocated correctly, maintaining robust financial controls and account accuracy throughout. Hybrid remote working is available, combining home-based duties with time on site as required. Sheridan Maine are currently seeking a Reconciliations Accountant to join our client on a temporary basis.
